How much do missed appointments cost you?

A booked slot that stays empty is a lost consultation, and a patient who could have had it. RDV360 brings together three levers to prevent it: reminders, deposits and a waiting list.

What a missed appointment really costs

Missed appointments affect every area of health care: in medicine alone, there are nearly 27 million a year in France (source: the French National Medical Council), and complementary therapy practices and independent practitioners are not spared either. The main cause is not bad faith, it is forgetting. And a slot freed up at the last minute almost never gets rebooked: the patient who would have wanted it has booked elsewhere, or later.

Reminders, against forgetting

The reminder goes out automatically by SMS and email before the appointment, with the date, the time and your name. It is the gentlest lever, for the most frequent cause, and on its own it solves most no-shows. See the reminders page.

A deposit, for practitioners who bill patients directly

Osteopaths, psychologists, sophrologists, dietitians, practitioners not contracted with the Assurance Maladie (French national health insurance): for a first consultation or a long slot, the deposit is paid online at booking and deducted from the total at the practice. You set the amount, in euros or as a percentage, service by service. If the patient cancels within the rules, you refund from the calendar, in one click. A doctor contracted with the Assurance Maladie will rely mainly on reminders and the waiting list.

Targeted, never forced on everyone

Asking a patient of ten years for a guarantee would be awkward. That is why you choose who you ask: new patients you do not know yet, or long consultations. Your regular patients book as before, without noticing any change.

A cancellation? The waiting list fills the slot

When a patient cancels, the slot is not lost for everyone: you offer it to patients on the waiting list, straight from the calendar. The one who wanted that slot gets it, and your day stays full.

I've been using RDV360 for more than 5 years: the software is very comprehensive, easy to use, and everything works really well. I was able to compare it with another very well-known service: much more expensive and no better. Nothing but positives!
Marie T. Client for more than 5 years
Very powerful software, at a price competitors just can’t match. The team is very responsive and efficient. You can go for it with your eyes closed.
Manuel G. RDV360 client
I was well supported from the very start. The site is easy to use, the explainer videos are clear and the team replies very quickly. I expanded my services: adding my new offers was very easy.

Frequently asked questions

How do I reduce missed appointments?

Three levers that work together: automatic reminders by SMS and email (against forgetting), an online deposit requested at booking (which commits the patient on high-risk slots), and the waiting list (which refills cancellations).

How does the deposit work?

The patient pays an amount online when booking, deducted from the total at the practice. You set the amount, in euros or as a percentage, for the services of your choice. If the patient cancels within the rules, you refund from the calendar, in one click.

Can I ask only some patients for it?

Yes, that is the right way to do it. You can ask for a deposit only from new patients or on long consultations, and let your regular patients book as before, without noticing any change.

Are reminders enough?

For forgetting, often yes. But they do not protect you from casual bookings or from slots canceled the day before: that is where the deposit takes over.

What happens when a slot frees up at the last minute?

You offer it to patients on the waiting list, straight from the calendar. A cancellation becomes a place for someone who was waiting, and your day stays full.

Do I have to pay for this?

Online booking and the calendar are free. SMS reminders come with the Pro plan (from €29.90 excl. VAT/month) and the online deposit with the Pro++ plan. Prices are public, no quote needed.
